WHAT IS NON-SURGICAL RHINOPLASTY?

At Dr Grace Kelly Aesthetic Skin Clinic in Chalfont St Peter, we offer non-surgical rhinoplasty becase we understand that not all people are happy with the way their nose looks, especially if it is noticeably large, hooked, crooked or has a bump on the bridge. In some cases the nose has been injured in some way, causing the bone and / or cartilage to become damaged, which alters its appearance.

Dermal fillers can be used to correct any imperfections in a treatment known as ‘non-surgical rhinoplasty’ – a great alternative to the surgical nose job.

HOW DOES NONSURGICAL RHINOPLASTY WORK?

During a thorough consultation at our Chalfont St Peter clinic in Buckinghamshire, the shape and size of your nose will be assessed, and you can discuss your concerns and expectations regarding the non-surgical rhinoplasty procedure. As with other dermal filler treatments, the product is applied using an injectable process.

A topical numbing cream can be administered to the site of treatment 20 – 30 minutes ahead of the nose job to help alleviate any possible discomfort.

WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT AT DR GRACE KELLY IN BUCKINGHAMSHIRE?

At our Buckinghamshire clinic, the non surgical rhinoplasty injections are carefully placed, following the natural structure of the nose and at points where added volume will disguise any bumps, dimples or irregular lines – this can even work to make a large nose appear smaller!

The Dr Grace Kelly nose job procedure produces great results that are similar to the surgical version, with minor side effects and virtually no downtime. Dermal fillers will last for around 6 – 18 months, and a repeat procedure will ensure a long-lasting result.

They can be used to treat a wide range of concerns, with different densities being appropriate for use of different areas of the face or body. Is nonsurgical rhinoplasty painful?

When a dermal filler injection is administered on the nose at Dr Grace Kelly, most of our Buckinghamshire clients expect to feel ‘a short sharp scratch’. This sensation is usually as it is described and is only felt momentarily. An injection with dermal fillers may last a little longer than a normal vaccination, but the feeling is much the same. As tolerance levels can differ from person to person, a numbing cream can help to reduce any sensitivity.

Are there any side effects or risks to non surgical rhinoplasty, Buckinghamshire?

Normal side effects of nonsurgical rhinoplasty can include the following at the point of injection: redness, bruising and swelling. These minor effects only usually last for around 24 or 48 hours and after this time, bruising can be covered over with make-up. What aftercare do I need to consider for a nose job?

In the first 6 hours after the non-surgical rhinoplasty procedure at our Buckinghamshire clinic, it is important that you avoid touching, rubbing or putting pressure on the treatment site. Hot or cold temperatures can also affect how the product settles, so being mindful of the weather is also a factor, as are hot showers / baths and the wind.
