WHAT IS SKIN ANALYSIS?
At Dr Grace Kelly Aesthetic Skin Clinic in Chalfont St Peter, we use an Oberv 520x skin scanner as a method of performing skin analysis. This invovles a more in-depth approach to identifying not just the visible concerns, but also what is going on deeper within the dermis. From this we are then able to make more accurate recommendations about the type of treatment that will produce the most effective results, as well as tailoring a long-term program.
HOW DOES OBSERV SKIN ANALYSIS WORK?
Our clinic near Gerrards Cross uses a state-of-the-art Observ 520 skin analysis device. Placing the face on the chin rest, Observ 520 scans the entire face, delivering different types of light onto the skin. The Observ skin scanner rapidly works through 6 settings to produce a series of images that capture the face and skin in varying light modes, including: daylight mode, UV mode, Wood’s light mode, parallel-polarised mode, cross-polarised mode and complexion mode.
This system allows us to instantly view the tone, texture and structure of the skin, including any damage to the underlying cells.
WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT FROM OBSERV 520?
Your bespoke treatment plan can address a variety of concerns in one skin analysis session, with our Chalfont St Peter practitioners being able to visualise conditions that also affect the deeper layers of the skin. Suggested treatments may include a combination of approaches designed to both improve active concerns, as well as those that have not yet become noticeable.
With Observ 520 we can carry out on-going assessments that track the progression of your skin’s condition and prevent further imperfections from developing.
