As they contain a high concentration of hyaluronic acid, dermal fillers can increase the skin’s hydration (improving its condition) and are suitable for use on the face, neck, decolletage and hands.
HOW DO DERMAL FILLERS WORK?
At our Chalfont St Peter dermal filler clinic, we use high quality, market-leading dermal filler brands that are renowned for producing safe and effective results. A fine needle is used to administer dermal fillers beneath the skin, and our medical professionals ensure they are applied at the right depth. Once the product has settled in place, it will add volume to the underlying tissues which enhances the overall appearance.
Prior to the procedure a numbing cream can be applied to the treatment area to ensure a more comfortable experience.

Our medical professionals may not recommend dermal fillers for you if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or have an active skin disorder.
A treatment using dermal fillers is safe to undergo following a comprehensive consultation at our Chalfont St Peter clinic in Buckinghamshire. As the well-being of our patients is top priority we will only recommend dermal fillers if we are sure it is in your best interests. All our treatments are carried out by a doctor or medical professional, and the temporary filler products we use are of the highest quality on the market.
The application of dermal fillers uses an injectable process, which may cause some very slight discomfort. A topical numbing cream can be administered to the dermal filler injection site if this is preferred, which would mean that any discomfort is kept to a minimum.
It is normal for a patient to experience some minor side effects immediately after dermal filler injections. These may include: small bumps at the point of injection, redness, minor swelling and bruising, which will usually have disappeared within 24 or 48 hours. Any other potential complications will be discussed during consultation at our dermal filler clinic in Chalfont St Peter.
To ensure the results of the dermal filler treatment are successful, we will suggest that for the first 6 hours you should avoid the following: rubbing or applying pressure to the treated area, hot showers / baths, prolonged sun exposure, cold weather and wind.
