WHAT IS MESOTHERAPY?

HOW DOES MESOTHERAPY FOR THE FACE WORK?
The mesotherapy treatment process that we deliver here in Chalfont St Peter involves a series of tiny injections to the skin, which are aimed at reaching the middle layer (mesoderm), however the correct depth can be selected according to the concerns you wish to treat. At the same time, the mesotherapy device applies a combination of vitamins, minerals and hyaluronic acid which are absorbed into the micro-channels and help to increase nourishment and hydration for the skin.

Your skin’s clarity will improve with each session, however, you may need to wait for around 3 or 4 weeks to start seeing a noticeable improvement. The final outcome will produce an appearance that has less wrinkles, firmer skin, a more radiant glow and reduced skin blemishes.

Mesotherapy treatment can be suitable for anyone who is looking to either reduce the signs of ageing, or maintain their youthful appearance for longer. Mesotherapy is a great alternative to other anti-ageing treatments that restores the look and feel of the skin, naturally.
Mesotherapy is considered a non-invasive treatment at our Chalfont St Peter practice in Buckinghamshire, and it is also low risk. Your therapist at Dr Grace Kelly will be experienced and fully trained so you can feel assured that you are in safe hands.
Due to the fine needles that are used in mesotherapy, it is usually well tolerated by most of our Buckinghamshire patients, with little discomfort. However, at our Chalfont St Peter clinic, we offer the use of a topical numbing cream to ease any mild discomfort.
Very soon after the mesotherapy treatment you may notice some slight swelling and bruising at the treatment site. This may also be accompanied by some mild itching. Side effects can take a few weeks to subside, and the most likely risk after mesotherapy is the development of an infection. This is less likely if you follow the aftercare instructions given to you before you leave our clinic near in Chalfont St Peter, near Gerrards Cross.
It is important to keep the treated area dry for the first 48 hours after mesotherapy treatment, so we advise against having a shower. After 48 hours you will need to use tepid water and gentle products on the skin, taking care not to expose your skin to extreme temperatures and prolonged intervals in the sun as your complexion will be more sensitive than normal.
